Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 21, 2026

Learn Piano is made by Nanohop. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use the app.

The short version

Learn Piano does not collect, sell or share any personal information. There are no accounts, no ads and no analytics.

What the app stores

Your progress — stars, levels, streaks, badges, settings and practice statistics — is saved on your device. If you use iCloud, the same progress is also saved to your own iCloud account so it carries over to your other devices or a reinstall. Apple stores this data; Nanohop cannot see or access it.

Purchases

Subscriptions and purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. Nanohop never receives your payment details. See Apple's Privacy Policy.

Microphone

If you choose to play on a real piano, the app uses your iPhone's microphone to hear which notes you play. The sound is analyzed on your device as you play and immediately discarded. It is never recorded, stored or sent anywhere. You can turn this off at any time in the app, or in the iPhone Settings app.

Notifications

If you turn on the daily reminder, the app schedules a notification on your device. No information leaves your device to do this.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages and collects no personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
